The CMS version 3.7.0, the
release in July 2011 shall have the following features.

Correction for Type II ghat section - Type of mileage
as multiple of actual kms ghat section with w/o banking engine

Automatic Signaling (AS) competency as mandatory
requirement - Presently following requirement are checked
prior to crew being made available for booking 1 PME - (for all
crew to be booked) 2 REFT - (for all crew to be booked) 3
Traction - (for all crew to be booked) 4 Road learning - (only
for crew to be booked as per rule) 5 Loco competency - (only
for crew to be booked as per rule) 6 Traction - (only for crew
to be booked as per rule) 7 REFE and REFD - (only for crew to
be booked as per rule) 8 In addition crew should not be in
coaching link of shunting roster 9 New Check for "Automatic
signaling competency" to be applied for making crew availble
for booking for all crew required to be booked. This check will
only be applicable to routes with section of routes which have
been defined as Automatic signalling "route section" at the
time of creation / modification of routes at CRIS. In case a
driver is booked on a route with both type of sections, and
driver is booked on sections without AS requirement crew is not
required to have AS competency. AS gets updated only through
Certification and not automatically based on working on that
section.

Display detail at the time of sign off approval for
the field selected by driver - Additional field in the sign
OFF approval form for the following, to verify if the driver
has selected the correct value. Route Shunt count

Shunters working out of HQ on loan basis at other
lobby or at road side station. - 1. Shunter should be at rest
at HQ and not linked to any roaster for temp transfer to other
lobby. 2. Shunter will be sent through temp transfer to other
lobby. Selection of other lobby possible for CMS lobbies with
the facility for other lobby to accept / reject the temporary
transfer. Crew bio data as transferred in permanent transfer
will be transferred in this case also.Other CMS lobby will
transfer the crew back to parent lobby. 3. In case of NCMS
lobby / road side station (Road side station will work only for
shunter and officiating shunter) transfer will be without
aceptance from the other lobby. Road side stations of division
only will be available for temporary transfer. Crew will not
appear in availability in the parent lobby. Crew bio data will
remain with parent lobby. Parent lobby can again transfer him
back from the NCMS lobby / way side station, to Parent lobby.
Facility for manual data entry for the shunting performed at
NCMS lobby / way side station, after he is transferred back to
parent lobby. During the period of temp transfer shunter may
work on one or many way side stations / NCMS lobbies. This
facility is available for shunters only. 4. Mileage and other
reports for any period will be available only at the lobby
where he is working during that period. 5. Once transferred
back the crew will regain the old ID. 6. If during a report
period he has worked on different lobbies, data for that period
will be required to be combined manually. 7. There is no fixed
duration for temporary transfer. 8. No special allowance is
permitted in case of temporary transfer. 9. Shunter will be in
the control of lobby where he is working.

PR as per logic - Alert to supervisor for PR to be
given for the following cases 1. Working on 7 consecutive days
withot any PR 2. Working on 3 consecutive days in night
(2200hrs to 0600hrs) Alert is given in the form of 1 "Last PR"
is shown in red colour in the supervisor approval form for sign
off. if PR is due. 2 Pop up message in case of Crew movement
detail (manual entry) just after fetching the crew for manual
data entry.

Night in PR - The PR for 22 hrs and 30 hrs must
include a period from 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs. If the night period
is not covered supervisor is given an alert for the night not
covered. He will then have option either not to give the PR or
give PR for more than 22 / 30 hrs so that night period is
covered. However these will be acknowldged by the system as 22
/ 30 hrs PR.

Circular route - In circular route FROM stn is always
starting stn in TA and selected for correct sequence in manual.
TO station is taken as the farthest appearance of that station.
Now multiple appearance of the TO station in a route shall be
displayed at the time of TA creation when ever TO station has
more than one entry in the route. Supervisor will be required
to select the correct order for the TO station Same logic will
be applied in manual entry and for coaching link For crew
signing off at station on a route with multiple appearance of
any station, the supervisor will be shown the route in blue
colour, so that if required supervisor can select the right
sequence for the station through manual data entry.

Count of shunting enroute - Driver may have performed
some shunting at intermediate station. Crew will be asked at
the time of Sign off if he has performed shunting since sign
on, if yes he will be presented a screen to fill the, shunting
order no and date, for each shunting order. Same Facility is also
provided in manual data entry form. A count for each shunting
order (T 806) entry will be provided in the mileage summary
report. Shunting station has to be more than 3rd station from
sign ON.

Port shuttling mileage - New service type has been
added in TA (required for slate module) JSLE shuttling mileage
is 160km or @20KM per Hr subject to maximum of 200 km which
ever is higher (for period from slate sign ON to Sign OFF, 0 to
30 min to be taken as 0 hrs and for 31 min to 60 min as 1 hrs)

SPL shuttling mileage - New service type has been
added in TA (required for SWR only) SPL shuttling mileage is
@15KM per Hr subject to maximum of 12 hrs (for period from sign
ON to Sign OFF, 0 to 30 min to be taken as 0 hrs and for 31 min
to 60 min as 1 hrs) Requires approval of CAO / FOIS

monitoring and grading to be delinked - Separate forms
to be used for Counselling/Monitoring and grading on the kiosk.

SMS to LI for each call serve to his associated crew -
SMS alert will be given to LI for crew whose
counselling/monitoring and / or grading is due with in 10 days
from the date of call serve.

Train search facility - This will be provided after
complete integration with COA application. Report console will
be provided with a text box for entering train no. This will
fetch and display the running details (departure time) for the
last 5 stations crossed, for a running train. This is under
trial in Delhi Division. Earlier posiotion of train was being
monitored by hitting the COA server from Thin Client. The
access to COA server has been withdrawn.

Change in officiating status by out station lobby -
Presently officiating status can be changed by HQ lobby, only
when at rest at HQ and not linked to any roster. Status can now
be changed when he is at rest either at HQ or at Outstation by
HQ lobby biodata, but not linked to any roster. Lobby will be
given an option at the time of booking to select if crew
displayed is to be selected from original crew type or also
from those crew type who have been permitted to officiate (from
some other crew type to this crew type or from this crew type
to any other crew type). While fetching crew against a TA an
aditional field will be displayed showing his officiating crew
type (in addition to his original crew type). Mileage will be
paid as per duty performed selected by crew type for which he
has been fetched and selected. Similarly a check box for each
run is provided in manual entry form to select status for that
run, this check box will work / display only if officiating
status has been enabled in bio data.

Booking of crew in lower grade in shunting only - With
officiating crew can not be booked in grades where officiating
allowance is not payable unless status is updated in bio data.
All crew can work in shunting duty irrespecive of the
officiating status and will get mileage as per their original
grade EXCEPT FOR ALP (ALP gets mileage as per officiating)

HQ Rest to have fixed values only in manual data entry
based on duty hrs - System to generate rest hrs based on duty
hrs (for the rest type configured) for the HQ rest only, based
on last duty hrs (last continuous run) ( As rest hrs are same
for all rest type) Supervisor can change the rest hrs from 12
to 16 or from 16 to12 at the time of sign OFF approval. However
an alert message will be displayed if 12 hrs rest is selected
when 16 hrs rest is due or vice versa. In manual data entry
form 0 hrs rest can be selected even at HQ for intermediate
runs to provide for continuos duty. How ever for the final run
only 12 / 16 hrs rest can be selected. In case selected rest is
different than the rest required as per duty hrs an alert
message will be displayed.

Combination of / modification of PR - Rest
modification form is provided with following modification

Departmental train to be added in TA and manual data
entry - An additional servise type "Departmental Train" has
been added in following forms 1. TA 2. Manual data entry This
will have mileage same as material train / ballast train

Increase field size for train no - field size
increased to 7 characters in coching link. It is 16 characters
in all freight

Name for shunting roster - At present shunting roster
is given a unique code (combination of date, IP address and sl
no ) which is difficult to remember and search. A text box to
enter a name for that shunting roster is provided, so that
later the roster can be searched based on name along with no

Caution order for station limit - At present
cautionorder can be entered for block section only. Caution
order for station limit is provided. Such that FROM and TO
station will be same for this case. This cautiion order will be
displayed for all routes which touches this station

Simultaneous working of two roles from one thin client
- It is possible to log in for one role say TNC and
simultaneously open another tab and log in for another role say
supervisor. Now it is possible to work simultaneously for both
the roles by switching windows. If he logs out in any one role
it will automatically log out for other role. It is not
possible to work simultaneously for divisional authority and
lobby authority from the same thin client as that paricular
thin client on one IP is conigured either as division or as
lobby. Dataentered as one role will reflect for the other role
only after other role goes back to home page.

Display name of module in Crew movement detail form -
The crew movement detail form now indicates module name also.
This will help in avoiding wrong data entry of freight to
coaching and vice versa.

Coaching TA modification - Presently coaching TA has
only one service type "coaching". Options for following types
have been provided Coaching Passenger Coaching Mail/ Exp

Compliance for defect entered by crew - At present
supervisor is required to fill the compliance to the defect
logged by the crew. An sms message is given to the crew for
each defect rectified and complied in the system Crew will be
given feedback at the time of sign on for all defects complied
from the last sign ON and for which no feedback has been given
earlier in the form of details of defect and compliance entered
by the supervisor.

Correction for leave and rest combination - When rest
is followed by Some Non Run (leave) then rest hrs are not
getting reflected in the monthly rest report. Rest gets
combined with the leave. This has been corrected
