New Software Functionality in CMS ver 3.5.0
 

The CMS version 3.5.0, the release in July 2010 shall have the following features.

    Application
  1. Sign OFF at the same lobby is permitted from kiosk in this release.
    Sign OFF will be complete only after manual entry for all intermediate section / duty by TNC as is the case for all manual data entry at present.
    Manual entry will be assumed to be with the approval of supervisor
    No separate approval from supervisor is required.
    Further processing for Crew availability only after Sign OFF is complete through manual data entry.
  2. With the introduction of Sign ON and Sign OFF at same lobby, this is being permitted for single trip uni directional route with fixed mileage, working assuming continuous duty, single loco type
    New routes required to be defined in FOIS
  3. Option can be excercised from TA creating authority.
    Existing TA will be cancelled and dropped from the system.
    All crew which has signed ON i.e. LP, ALP, Guard will be shifted to new TA.
    Alert can be viewed for Automatic signalling due, Alcohlic, REFE, Loco competency, LR, before crew is shifted.
    This will be in addition to existing case of swapping of TA.
    Reason for swapping to be recorded.
  4. This rule is applicable for Delhi Division crew (LP & ALP only).
    In minimum gurantee section with in Delhi area section
    if
    Actual KM earned < 80 system will give 120 km,
    if
    80 km <actual KM earned< 120 km system will give 160 km.
    For all crew working in non delhi area section and guards working in Delhi Division existing rules will apply.
  5. Circular limit has been enhanced to 1000 characters from existing limit of 7000 characters.
  6. Option has been given while doing the crew booking for booking of LP and LP, even for freight trains.
    Reason will be required to be filled after selecting this option.
  7. Session out is raised from 15 min to 25 min for thin client and 5 min to 15 min for kiosk.
  8. Circulars reading is mandatory, if unread circulars are more than 2 system will not allow crew to sign on till he confirm that he has read those circulars.
  9. Following alerts can be viewed by clicking the crew id at the time booking of crew
    1 Alcohlic driver
    2 Automatic signalling due
    3 REFE due
    4 REFD due
    5 Loco competency due
    6 LR due
    7 REFT due
    8 PME due
    9 Crew grading
  10. 1. Configuration console currently have been provided to enter counselling periodicity in addition to gradation periodicity.
    2. In LI personal detail page, Date column for due date of counseling has been added.
    3. SMS flow for counselling similar to that for gradating has been provided.
  11. Earlier this was being done from CRIS, based on written request from Railways
    Now this can be done by the lobby incharge from the configuration console.
  12. validation check while filling basic of certain grade pay i.e. 2800 does not allow to fill value more than 20230. Limit to be increased.
    Calculation should be as 34800 x 3%= 1044 34800+1044=35844 rounded off 35850 35850x3%=1075.50 35850+1075=36925 rounded off 36930 36930+1107=38037 rounded off 38040 36930x3%=1107.9 So 38040 to be Max limit to be permitted in this case.

    Reports
  1. The Crew hours report in 'Daily category', has been given option to select
    1 Crew hrs > 10 hrs
    2 Crew hrs > 6 hrs
  2. The crew utilisation report in 'current category', has been given option to view crew utilisation
    1 Crew hrs > 10 hrs
    2 Crew hrs > 6 hrs
  3. A new report has been provided giving details of Sign ON / OFF through manual data entry.
  4. An additional report for crew utilisation in current category has been added which will show the crew utilisation at that point of time. Earlier only mid night position of crew utilisation was available.
  5. A new report has been provided in monthly analysis giving date wise attendance for each crew.
  6. This reort gives crew wise performing and non performing hours for a particular slot.
  7. We should make a All india Crew Booking irregularity report as follows.
    1. All crew stuck in SYS NR for > 24 Hrs without action by user.
    2. All crew called ack but not signed on > 24 Hrs.
    3. All crew called but not call ack > 24 Hrs.
    4. Crew on Train > 72 Hrs.
    5. Crew at outstation crew at rest > 24 Hrs.
  8. New Monthly report provided for HQ crew for
    avg time between one sign on to another sign on at his HQ
