The Level 2 user, the lobby super user or the configuration manager can configure the lobby under his control to suit his requirement. The various parameters that can be configured are as below

Train Pulling Locations

Train pulling times are different for different lobbies. CMS allows the train pulling time to suite a Lobby requirement. A typical example of the data entry screen for Train pulling is shall be

Location Name
Pulling time for Guards
Pulling time for Loco Staff
RTM main line
30 min
15 min
RTM UP Yard
45 min
30 min
RTM DN Yard
35 min
25 min

A station code has been added before the Train pulling location essentially from CMS 1.6.0 onwards. This shall facilitate the crew to sign on at the station code appearing prior to the train pulling location. For example A lobby like Ghorpuri GPR can make a Train pulling location GPR – Mainline or PUNE – Mainline. When a TA is made for GPR-Mainine the crew can sign on at GPR with a call server from GPR while if the train pulling location is PUNE-Mainline then the crew can sign ON at PUNE for a call server from GPR lobby.

All such lobbies like GPR-PUNE, BSLX-BSL, BRCY-BRC are termed as sister lobbies by the CMS software.

The minimum pulling time is 15 min and the max pulling time is upto 1 Hr is the limit provided.
