CMS ver 1.6.0 Release in Apr 2008
 

The CMS version 1.6.0 released in Apr 2008 had the following new features.

  1. The software had new features for Crew login where in the User type is being added in a combo.
  2. The requirement of sister lobbies was tackled where in user served call from Lobby A can sign ON into station B. This pertains to twin yards like BRC – BRCY, BSL – BSLX, GPR-PUNE, UDHNA-SUR, and NISHATPURA – BPL etc. The CMS users shall be required to reconfigure their train pulling locations.
  3. Now user can change the routes required to be displayed in his TA, Manual, BIO-DATA, Caution order, Coaching etc to suit his custom needs specific a lobby through changes in the configuration console. This shall make the application more users friendly to suit the user’s requirement.
  4. User can reset the crew id password to "123" through configuration console manager for all his crew this will help in restoration of the password which is generally required in the initial phase.
  5. L.R. updating on BPL, BSL, NGP, and NWR is after 3 months while it is 6 months for N.R. and W.R. the modification has been done as per user requirement.
  6. CMS administrators at CRIS can upgrade the status of Crew’s to Inactive/Active on the request of lobbies.
  7. CMS has now the features of Ballast Train and Material Train incorporated along with its related allowances and rescheduling / Cancellation of crew booked on these trains.
  8. Addition of new alerts in Shunter, Coaching and Freight module along with user flexibility to sort the alerts data by clicking the relevant fields enhancing the effectiveness of data presentation enabling supervisors to take effective decisions.
  9. Continuous duty has been now tackled in Crew working.
  10. More options for LI grading (Type-III, Type-IV) in crew gradation configuration console to suite the requirement expressed by NWR and C.R.
  11. Provision of using multiple locomotives has been made in the Coaching Module.
  12. Gender information added in crew Bio data.
  13. An ANALOG Clock has been added on Crew Console to facilitate the crew to see the current time while interacting with the CMS system this shall in turn bring in awareness of punctuality among the Crew.
  14. Upgraded Reports Console which changes its look and feel every day making it more interesting and refreshing.
  15. Majority of the Reports in PDF format have now been converted into JSP format for faster access to the user.
  16. Sorting of Crew in the Non Run by Crew ID or Crew name.
  17. Transfer not accepted Logic has been incorporated where in the crew whose transfer is not accepted by the transferred lobby is returned back to lobby from where the transfer was done in its original state.
  18. Applying various validation checks in the application to improve the data entry errors –
    1. Check to eliminate the possibility of sending a crew on Non Run beyond 84 Hrs.
    2. Check to eliminate the possibility of overlapping date filed entry in the manual data entry earlier then the Train ordering time.
    3. Disable the data entry save button after clicking save data on manual data entry form.

    1. Shunting Module Report
    2. Circulars read/unread by crew report
    3. List of crew wearing spectacles.
    4. Modification in Crew Bio data in CMS database report
    5. Coaching Link Report.
    6. Progressive month slot report.
    7. Crew Call serve report
    8. Mandatory requirement reports.
    9. LR section due in 30 days report
    10. Long rest due report
    11. Non Run Report in  monthly analysis
    12. Crew return from Non Run in daily analysis
    13. Breathe analyzer in Daily Sign ON and Sign OFF report.
    14. Crew Training and rest Particulars in current Analysis
    15. OT reports in Fortnightly Analysis
    16. Modify crew booking in TA in current analysis
